On her debut album “Doświtek”, she combines her own compositions with folk songs in new, contemporary arrangements, as well as lyrics set to music by Zygmunt Konieczny. “Doświtek” is an old Polish word that describes the moment just before sunrise – and this is exactly how Magdalena Pamuła’s music sounds: fleeting and sensitive with hints of light breezes, moss and coffee.
